Our mission

Our mission at Meals She Eats is to create a diverse platform that embraces the transformative power of food, recognizing its role in promoting a healthy lifestyle. We will continue to shed light on PCOS so resources and awareness become abundant.  We are devoted to growing the community, so everyone knows they are not alone in this and feels the support. Last, we will continue to bring resources from gluten free and dairy free recipes to realistic ways we navigate the struggles of PCOS to specialists who can tackle specific areas of PCOS to offer free support for everyone.

At the heart of our mission is the belief that food unites and bonds us, bringing people together to share meals and create meaningful connections. Through our college meals program, we aim to serve home-cooked meals that not only stick to our principles of gluten-free, dairy-free, and real food, but also cater to budget considerations. These meals feed much more than appetites and they never require any qualification, we are open to any and all students.

We aspire to foster a sense of community by taking a break from the everyday hustle, organizing gatherings that feed the masses and create memorable experiences.

On a personal level, cooking serves as therapy, relaxation, and a medium for curiosity, fun, art, and creation. Combining cultures and techniques, we embrace the fusion of flavors and ingredients, drawing inspiration from the culinary scene in our home, Chicago.

Join us on this nourishing journey as we do what we love, enjoy great food with amazing people.

If you’ve been diagnosed with or suspect polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). You’ve probably done some research, and you want to start the journey of regulating your cycle and managing your symptoms naturally.

Can you relate to bloating, acne, cramps, and irregular periods? And beyond these typical PMS symptoms, do you also experience intense mood swings, irritability, heavy flow, and crippling fatigue? These were the norms in Rachael’s life that she was told were just a part of being a woman. Like her, you know these aren’t normal, but you have the hope of living symptom-free.

Meals She Eats is the guide you’ve been looking for. This book bridges the gap between research and personal experience and offers everything you need to know to naturally manage your diagnosis each phase of your cycle.
