Lemon Pomegranate Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 c old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 c water
- 1 pomegranate kernels
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- pomegranate molasses or honey to garnish
Instructions
- In a small pot, add the water and bring to a light boil
- Stir in the oats and lemon juice. Reduce heat to a simmer (medium-low), stirring frequentlyย
- As the oats begin to tighten, about 3m, add in lemon zest and gently fold in the pomegranate
- After 5m, remove from heat and place the lid on the pot for about 3m
- Serve and garnish with pomegranate molasses or honey drizzle
