Spiced Pineapple Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 c old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 c water
- ½ c pineapple juice
- ¾ c pineapple tidbits
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp allspice
- ¼ tsp ground clove
- 1 c cashew milk yogurt
- 1 tbsp  flaxseeds
Instructions
- In a small pot, add the water and bring to a light boil
- Stir in the oats and lemon juice. Reduce heat to a simmer (medium-low), stirring frequentlyÂ
- As the oats begin to tighten, about 3m, add in lemon zest and gently fold in the pomegranate
- After 5m, remove from heat and place the lid on the pot for about 3m
- Serve and garnish with pomegranate molasses or honey drizzle
